Mr Bongo Films is the latest Mr Bongo imprint and major long term project. In keeping with the record label’s philosophy we have cast our net around the globe to find the best in cinema.
Taking in such world-renowned directors as Michelangelo Antonioni, Wojciech Has and Satajyit Ray and films such as the widely acclaimed The Saragossa Manuscript, a film that has been hugely influential on the likes of Martin Scorsese and Francis Ford Coppola.
We have plans and aims to build a diverse catalogue of impressive directing and acting talent and a selection of cinematic gems from around the world. Alongside releasing DVD titles, we are looking to develop theatrical releases taking in independent cinemas worldwide.
